I would like to introduce to you a late friend and deviant. Do take a look at her works, and feel free to leave a message. I was one of her watchers. I liked some of the concepts and and the style of art she did, and there was a lot of potential in her to develop as a artist.

According to BlueFalkon ([link]) she passed away from unknown causes, and had be sick in the days leading up to it, but could not afford to see a doctor.

It was harder to take the news than most news i get about people's passings. Perhaps it's because this was really really sudden; perhaps it's because i knew her in a way, though not very well...

We first started talking after a journal entry she wrote about her lack of skills and confidence in making friends... Truth be told, i never got that impression she was a bad friend, or that she really lacked the basic skills of befriending. Being the lousy online correspondent i am (as some of my friends can testify), we continue chatting on occasions, but thru' the comments she made and her journal entries, one would be able to get a better image of the kind of person she was, and things about her personal life.

She was a really busy woman. She was married and had a baby girl. She was working part-time as one of those people who took emergency calls, while studying hard to develop her art skills. One top of that, she was frequently updating her deviant journal and still taking commissions. Not long ago she graduated, and was happy being able to become the full-time artist she dreamed of and worked hard for. She seemed to be cheerful often, and also made it a point to reply deviants despite her busy life. She also lamented on not being able to spend more time with her family during her school years and how far she had to drive away from them, and perhaps had look forward to finishing school so she could get a full-time job and be a little less busy. Based on her recent entries, she was happier...

I felt myself turn cold when i read the last entry about her funeral service that is to be held on Saturday, 11th July. I kept thinking to myself, "that can't be right. That can't be real." So i scanned thru' all the comments left behind by other deviants for evidence of the truth. What hit me harder was the fact it happened so recently, and i had missed the chance to talk with her and catch up on her life. I missed the chance to congratulate her on her graduation, and new job. And i had missed the chance to get her replies.
